Cookie Packaging Design

This project idea was to create a user friendly, eye catching package design for three branded cookies that could be seen in your local grocery store.

Meridian

This packaging design was intended to showcase a specific brand called Meridian. All of our information and even nutrition facts were already provided. The goal was to create a cohesive design throughout all three packages. The idea was to create a design that was user friendly, but also something unique to the eye and something that would stand out in grocery stores.

The cookie products were to be hypothetically sold at most specialty grocery stores, such as Heinen’s, Whole Foods, and more that all contain a target audience ranging from young ages to old. The goal was to visually entice people to buy the cookies by using a unique retro designed

package that pairs well with the aspect of the three cookies. I planned on using a 70s retro theme to enhance the fun and old-timey feeling of each cookie. I also added a summary of each cookie on the side of the package which will allow the consumer to gain a brief incite to the background knowledge of each of the cookie products.

My idea was to create a more of a retro/vintage theme package for each of the three cookies because they are all old fashion cookies. After conducting some research, I carefully drew and crafted different examples of designs that I want to explore for the packages. My goal was to produce a package

prototype that will appeal, entice, and inspire multiple consumers and customers in the specialty grocery stores.
